Learn new techniques for knitting a top-down sweater like German short rows and inv-L increases. Learn embroidery stitches and techniques for how to work them onto hand knit fabric. Combine stitches and follow along step by step to embroider a swatch as practice for knitting and embroidering the yoke of the Boho Wreath Sweater pattern.

Class includes the full Boho Chic Fiber Co. Boho Wreath Sweater pattern (a worsted weight top-down yoked sweater with embroidered yoke).
- Worsted weight yarn in MC for practicing techniques
- Several yards of fingering weight yarn in 3 or more colors for embroidery
- A darning needle for embroidery
- Size 6 16” and 32" circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
If there is time in class after going over all skills, we will begin casting on and knitting our sweaters so choose a sweater size below and bring yarn for your full amount of yarn to knit sweater to class:

Homework: Please come to class with a finished, blocked, stockinette swatch of about an 8” square knit up in MC of yarn at a gauge of 17 sts and 24 rows over 4”. We will use this in class to practice our embroidery stitches on.
