08 Oct Cynthia
Cynthia is part of a Friday morning knitting group that meets at JP Knit & Stitch. We have come to love these ladies not only for the delicious home-baked treats they bring (thanks, Joy!), but for their inspiring creativity. Cynthia knits mainly for charity and is always working on a knitting project meant for someone else. She had her eye on some fabric in our store for awhile and finally bought it, a lovely magenta swirly Kaffe Fasset design and voila made a great shift dress from it. She used a pattern she’s had for years (the beauty of a great pattern is that you can use it over and over again). Imagine her on her bike (she bikes here from the South End) in that dress with that fabulous coat (a thrift store find, tag reads Josefa…turns out Josefa is a famous 60s/70s Mexican designer, internationally known) with her lovely upswept gray hair…we are inspired!
