Have you ever wanted to learn to sew with knit/jersey fabric? With so many new ones available, it’s hard to resist these comfy and wearable fabrics. This class will walk you through sewing the Linden Sweatshirt by Grainline Studios–a simple but stylish knit staple, perfect for the colder months. Make it up in a thicker sweatshirt fabric or a lighter jersey knit for a versatile layering piece. This is a great introduction to sewing with knits, as well as a good project for new sewists looking to improve their clothing sewing skills. We’ll discuss types of knit fabric, tips for cutting and sewing knits, and other useful information to help you with future projects.
