I Day Workshop: Zippers & Buttonholes
Starts: July 25, 2017 6:00 pm
Tuesday, 6:00PM – 8:00PM
Meets on: July 25
Instructor: Alexis Agbay
Level: Advanced beginner. Students should feel comfortable using a sewing machine.
Do zippers and button holes terrify you? Are you avoiding certain sewing patterns out of finishing fears? Then you should sign up for this class.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to install two kinds of zippers (regular & invisible) as well as how to make buttonholes on the machine.
Students should bring some large fabric scraps, one 9″ all purpose zipper, one 9″ invisible zipper, and a button of any size. Students may also want to bring in their own machines if they want to learn the specifics of their machine, otherwise machines will be provided. If you bring your own machine, please bring the accessories as well, since special sewing machine feet are required to sew zippers.
