Happy Birthday to Us!

We still find it hard to believe that this shop (our dream) which we spent so much time talking and thinking and planning about is here (a reality!).  Now we are coming up to our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY and we have to pinch ourselves. We are so very thankful to the community for welcoming us and being so willing to go on this journey with us. We’ve met so many wonderful crafters over the year:  some new to it, some just getting back into it and, even in this short year, our wonderful teachers have taught a whole new crop of crafters how to knit or crochet or sew (and sometimes all three!). We truly thank all of you for a fabulous year!

On Sunday, March 4th, our actual birth day, we are having a PARTY!  This one day only all yarn and fabric will be 25% off, we will raffle off our limited edition JP Knit & Stitch tote bags with a special surprise inside, have mimosas + cupcakes, and a slideshow of our customer projects from the year.  For the rest of the month of March we will have great sales on selected yarn and fabric, exciting trunks shows, discussions, book signings, and workshops.  Included will be:  Cloud 9 Organic Fabric Company, Melissa LaBarre and Cecily Glowik MacDonald of Weekend Hats, and Kristin Nicholas of Color by Kristin and Kristin Knits.  We have scheduled fabulous workshops with Kristin Nicholas and an introduction to our charity knitting project: Dolls for Zambia.   Each of  the events and workshops will be listed on the home page of our web site – look on the left side bar.  As we confirm things, we will post them so keep checking back.

ps. The wonderful image below was created by the amazing and talented Eloise Narrigan (some of you may know her from the shop) for our limited edition Anniversary Tote Bag, available only while supplies last starting on Sunday, March 4th.
