Learn to knit stranded colorwork and add beautiful, multi-colored motifs and patterns to your knits! In this class we will knit Christina Danaee's Foliole Cowl pattern, and learn traditional two-color knitting (sometimes called Fair Isle knitting). We will learn the basics of knitting with two strands of yarn at a time and knitting from a charted pattern, and practice different techniques for carrying multiple strands of yarn. We will discuss tips and tricks to make sure your colorwork knits look their best, including: choosing yarns and colors for colorwork motifs, color dominance, taming tension issues, and blocking.
