We are looking forward to a New Year 2013 full of beautiful yarns, gorgeous fabrics, and lots and lots of great supplies + notions + books to inspire you in your next creative project. We have posted great classes for January, and are welcoming two new teachers and three new classes to our rooster:
Winter Cowl Workshop with Lynn Salmonson was developed to offer project specific workshops (more in this series coming soon) and Saturday Kids Knitting Club with Molly DiStefano was designed to offer a fun, Saturday morning knitting circle experience for our tween knitters. We are also welcoming our latest offering from the ever-talented Eva Eckles (seriously, is there anything she doesn’t know how to do–and do so well?), a three session Introduction to Tunisian Crochet. These new classes join our popular recurring knitting, sewing, crochet classes. See all of our January classes right here.
We wish you and your families the best of health + happiness + crafty good times in 2013!
***Ski cowl update. Did I finish the ski cowls for the three kids in time for Christmas? Reader, I did not. Did I finish them in the car on the way up to New Hampshire where we are spending New Years with friends and going skiing. Reader, I did. So yes, THREE ski cowls knitting and finished in time for ski weekend. Check. How many ski cowls were left in the house this morning after I woke up and big kids and Dads had left for the ski mountain? All THREE! Sigh. My only comfort is that I am not alone. A good friend made her five year old a beautiful hooded sweater that he has yet to put on his body. Oh well. We make, we give, and we take small pleasures where we can find them. Kudos to all who found time to make something for their loved ones this holiday season.
