New Awnings + Holiday Hours + More

A round up of JP Knit & Stitch news:

Awnings: Reader, we have awnings. We have been working on this project for many months. Well, one cold Tuesday evening Excel Signs showed up and began installation. We were thrilled. Don’t worry, we’ll still keep putting out our friendly yarn bomb to indicate that we’re open in good weather. But now, when someone calls or wants directions to the shop, we’ll say: “look for the green awnings and you’ll find us.” Yay!

Handmade holidays: We continue to be amazed and inspired by all the handmade projects people are taking the time out of their busy schedule to create. And, it’s not too late for you to make someone something meaningful for the holidays. We have quick knit up scarves, simple hats, cowls. We also have lots of great gifts for the crafter in your life (or for your own wish list). Love a crafter this holiday season with a JP Knit & Stitch gift card, a beautiful knitting, sewing, or crochet book, project bags…we have lots to give!  Stay tuned to the project page of our website for more inspiration.

Classes: We have added January sewing, knitting, and crochet classes. More knitting classes to come, but sign up now and reserve your space.

Blog Comments: Our fabulous web designer, KJ, has made it possible for our readers to comment on posts. Just click on any post and you can comment away. We post photos of our customer projects to inspire you…now here’s your chance to respond.

Holiday Hours: Don’t forget that we are closing on Saturday, December 24th for the holidays.  Our last day of business is Friday, December 23rd. We will re-open Wednesday, January 4th. Mark your calendars…

I was stopped at the light on Moraine the other day and the awnings totally caught my eye. They look great!

Thanks! We are so happy to have them. We have been working on them since we opened 10 months ago. And thanks for commenting (we are still learning how to use this feature ourselves…)
