Warm mittens for those cold New England days! Ever want to use unspun fleece or roving? Now is your chance to make something fun and warm! Thrumming adds warmth and texture to these mittens. In class, you'll learn to knit in the round; increase; divide for thumb; and thrum.

Instructor Name: Stephanie Fine
Date: February 29 and March 7: 11am-1pm.
Skill/Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner (must know how to cast on, knit, purl)
Materials Needed:
  • Pattern (free on Ravelry!)
  • ~ 220 yards of worsted weight yarn
  • 50g of wool roving
  • US 6 (4mm) double point needles (set of 5)
  • stitch markers
  • measuring tape
  • scissors
  • darning needle
  • scrap/waste yarn to use as stitch holder
