Days of Summer

I've spent the past couple weeks doing lots of outdoor activities and swimming with my kiddos.  We were fortunate enough to be able to rent a house near a lake in New Hampshire.  It has been such a nice change of scenery (especially for my kids). I really feel like I have been able to catch my breath for the first time in months.  I've been thinking quite a bit about what fall is going to look like.  Needless to say, running a business, a household and homeschooling 3 kiddos (ages 8, 6 & 4) is going to be quite a journey.  I've been trying to get myself back into my fitness routine to help encourage more balance in my life.  As many of you know, I used to compete in short and long distance triathlons.  The past couple years have been a tough road physically (too many surgeries) but I finally feel like I'm on the mend and ready to get back at it.

I'm happy to report that I recently bound of my Soldatna using Less Traveled DK!  I'm not trying to finish my Rose Cardigan and my Adventurous Wrap.  Once I finish those two, I plan to cast on my next project for the Laine 9 KAL!  I'm thinking I'll either start Magnolia by Camilla Vlad using Shibui Pebble and Quince Piper or Marit by Kristin Drysdale using Tukuwool Fingering.  I've been spending some time trying to figure out some fun events to keep this amazing community together.  I'm not sure when StitchFaced will be able to start up again (hopefully sooner rather than later).  What are some fun things you'd like to see??

Happy Making!
