Deer&Doe began in 2012, with the goal of offering well-drafted sewing patterns that would be both easy to sew and wear. Deer&Doe has now grown into a small team of passionate makers who thrive for quality. We hope you will enjoy sewing our patterns as much as we did designing them, and wish you bonne couture!

Swing coat with raglan sleeves and origami welt pockets, entirely lined. Version A is closed with snaps, version B includes a belt.

The pattern envelope contains a full size pattern (with 4 overlapping pieces) and an instruction booklet.

Fabric Requirements:

Versions A&B: 3 3/8 yards (60" wide); 4 3/8 yards (45" wide)
Lining: 2 yards (60" wide); 2 3/4 yards (45" wide)
Interfacing: 1 1/2 yard (35" wide); 2 3/4 yards (20" wide)

Recommended fabrics: Melton wool, boiled wool, Loden, wool gabardine. Lining: rayon bemberg, silk. Allow extra fabric to match stripes or plaids.


  • Non-stretch fusible woven interfacing (c.f. table for yardage)
  • 2¾ yards iron-on seam tape interfacing
  • Version A: 2 large sew-on snaps
